To read or not to read – Read it for a fairly entertaining read

Review –

The Cottage by Lisa Stone has been marketed as a horror novel – which is its only mistake. If you go in expecting a terrifying book rife with plot twists and supernatural elements, you will be let down. Having said that, the story is well told, with decent enough characters with a plotline that goes in an unexpected direction.

It stands out in recent memory, simply for the difference in the way this unfolds. So if you are in the mood to be surprised, by all means, go ahead and pick up this one. If you’re in the mood for nail-biting horror, this might not be the right book to try.
